What is a valuation?
A valuation determines the market value of an item. This can just as well be a complete EDP system as an individual notebook or even software.
What can a valuation mean for you?
A valuation gives you an exact determination of the current value, e.g. of your IT system and business software. This value, determined by an independent expert, can be decisive for determining the premium amount of your insurance(s). A valuation can also have financial value, e.g. for taking out a loan.
Why a valuation?
Valuations are often used to determine the actual market value of companies when, for example, the sale of these companies or the takeover of them by other companies is planned. A valuation can also be ordered by the bankruptcy trustee to get an overview of the value of the bankruptcy estate.
